The 1997 XRV750 carried over the 1996 facelift unchanged: revised seat and clutch, larger silencer and updated fairing on the established 742 cc V-twin platform. It remained a comfortable, low-centre-of-gravity long-distance machine with genuine off-road ability, and the design stayed in production until 2000.
